Community Supported Agriculture
Our program is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). It is popular because it is a way that the community can buy our fresh produce directly from the widow farmers and also participate in the cultivation of the produce. We encourage widows to join the farm and learn how to grow plantains, while also making money to support themselves and their families.

Advantages for Farm and Widows:

Get to spend time marketing the food early in the year, before their 16 hour days in the field begin

What We Offer
We offer the community an opportunity to come to the farm and for a price pick their own produce. They may also learn how to cultivate and harvest the produce. For widows, we offer the opportunity to earn an income while learning. They also get the opportunity to have portions of the produce for themselves after harvest..
